2023 MAAP Testing Week

REMINDER OGE PARENTS: It's State Testing Time, and we need your support to help your child succeed on this year's MAAP Assessment!

The state testing window runs from April 18-May 19, 2023. Please check your child's school notices sent home from teachers to know which days your child is testing. It is important to be aware of your child's testing schedule and ensure that your child is present on his/her test date.

Your child can prepare by getting a good night's rest, eating a healthy breakfast, and having a positive start to the morning. Also, be sure to arrive to school on time, and students need to do their best to rock the test!

You can help your child understand the test tools and see what test items will look like by viewing the practice tests at the following links:

6th Grade ELA Homework Help for Parents

On Thursday, September 22, 2022, our 6th grade ELA teachers presented to parents information about the expectations of their daily homework assignments. The teachers explained, with examples, what parents should see from their child each night they complete ELA homework.

The teachers also showed parents how mastery of these skills daily will help them when applied to state test questions they will encounter at the end of the school year.

If you missed the event, you can access a copy of the outline for daily homework here:
